Michelle Malkin doesn’t just hate illegal immigrants, she hates legal voters
So, apparently there are illegal immigrants working to get more LEGAL voters registered. So, really, this has nothing to do with immigration reform (regardless of how you stand on the topic).
Michelle Malkin is having kittens over it.
Ms. Malkin, while you may not like illegal immigrants, does it not occur to you that having more registered voters is both legal AND a good thing? The more people who vote, the more democratic the process is.
Oh, wait, of course not. The more voters there are the less likely you are to get your way. The more people who vote, the more likely it is that the conservative movement will be relegated to the shadows.

Well, Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution prohibits legal foreign residents, such as American expats, from engaging in political activity, such as registering voters and demonstrating in the streets for more immigrant rights. I’d say the arrogant and outspoken hypocrisy of illegal Mexican aliens at SJS demanding immigrant rights Mexico does not grant to legal American residents is worth having a cow, not just kittens.

I see. So, since Mexico, a government that we should all aspire to emulate, doesn’t allow for free speech for everyone in its borders, we should do the same?
Once you are within our borders, you have certain rights. To remove the right to free speech means you can also remove due process, freedom of religion, the entire bill of rights.
Let’s also remember that many of these illegals have been here since they were children. At the very least, they have virtualy no connection to the Mexican government. It is hardly fair to hold them accountable for that. If you do, then you might want to talk to my grandfather about how he could possibly have allowed the Russian government to be so nutso.
I wonder, though.
We’re you one of those people who had fits over the past couple years when courts would cite laws in other countries as part of their decision making processes?
