Well, people who keep asking for government to be removed from business are really saying “remove government from business whenever it gets in our way, but lets keep the stuff we like”.
And who can blame them?
Its the same with teenagers when they want their parents to stop interfering and all. They definitely don’t mean to include, y’know, food and shleter as ‘interfering’.

Lets see…
If we REALLY pulled government interference out, then the legal entity of the corporation would disappear (that legal entity having been made by…dum dum DUUUUMMMM…the government).
Once that disappeared, the owners of companies would be PERSONALLY vulnerable to lawsuits for anything that was caused by their products.
Now, you might think thats a good thing. People would be doubly careful to only put out safe, quality, reliable products.
But thats not what would happen. No one could possibly afford to take the risk that a mistake was made.

The Free market is fine, there would be no collapse, and you are on crack. They should stay out of the business of big business and focus on some actual problems.

2. Perot always made me laugh. Ron Paul is a putz who continues this irrational dream of the free market. I wonder how he’d feel if we really pulled government intervention out. Every corporation would collapse overnight.

I’m not sure you can make much of a case for the system being rigged (I agree that it is) when the best examples are Perot, Nader, and Paul.

The obvious retort is simply “Yes, it is rigged … against CRAZY people”
