How evil is John McCain?

How evil is John McCain?  You can tell a lot by his choice of Sarah Palin as VP.

1. Lets be honest here.  McCain is old.  McCain is not as healthy as he might be.  Given that, there’s a reasonable chance that he might be, at some point during his presidency, incapacitated.  That would leave Ms. Palin, a woman with a resume only slightly more extensive than my own, in charge of the country.  I don’t think there’s ANYONE out there who thinks THAT would be a good idea.  So, to get votes, John McCain has decided to risk the safety and lives of everyone in the U.S.  Where I come from, we call that EVIL

2. Palin is there to pick up votes.  Specifically, she’s there to pick up the votes of women.  More specifically, the votes of disgruntled Clinton women.  How evil is John McCain?  He appears to believe women (to paraphrase Samantha Bee) don’t vote with their head, they vote with the hood.  It doesn’t matter that she’s the exact opposite of Clinton in every way.  She’s got boobs and John thinks that women will vote for her just because of that.  EVIL.

  1. Joel, dude, you’re gonna give yourself an aneurysm. Did John McCain kill your dog when you were a kid? Now THAT would be evil. Just to play devil’s advocate: Some of our most revered former presidents had little to no political or governing experience when they came to office.

And more importantly from your point of view: Barrack Obama may end being one of those (I assume you are pulling for him).

  2. The fact is that McCain IS evil.
Look…say what you want about GW, but he is, imho, a true believer. McCain is just willing to do or say anything he has to in order to become president. THAT is why I find him so repulsive.
Obviously, every candidate panders to a degree, but McCain has just taken it to a whole new level.

RE:Palin’s inexperience, look at the bind it puts people in. Lets say I support McCain, I want him as president. I am then forced to create a situation that could be very bad (Palin as president).
What do I do? I’m not going to vote for Obama, I can’t stand HIM as president, but McCain brings a landmine with him. Alas…

Now, if I support Obama, I’ve already made that choice independent of anything else.

None of this is helped by the fact that Palin is a fucking monster in her own right.
