So the wife spent some time trying to convince me this site was a joke. And it is.
But it took her a LOT of examples before she found something that didn’t sound completely reasonable fro the nutjob perspective (specifically, it was a few remarks in the sex toys article).
The fact is that when you have a pope comparing gays to the destruction of the rainforest, when you have laws that let doctors and pharmacists impose their own morality on patients, when you have people who think that we should be encouraging the wars in the middle east so that the rapture will come all the sooner, exactly what counts as too insane? What becomes surprising?
We live with teh crazy.

Once you know it’s a joke, it’s REALLY funny.
Especially the bits about how Sarah Palin is planning to build a huge underground city for those left behind by the rapture. Or for those raptured. It’s a bit unclear.
