I hate posting from Huffington, but this illustrates that Robertson and his ilk (including some from Islam) have often said, during disasters, that people were getting what they deserved.  Let us not be surprised, let us not think this is isolated, let us wake up and call these monsters what they are and recognize that everything these people live for is exactly what people believed in the dark ages

Nowhere in your article did you indicate that this practice of constantly expanding rights in order to maximize equality might be controversial, nor did you give any argument to support it. Your article simply assumes the propriety of expanding rights.

What do you say to a person who doesn’t think that giving rights to people isn’t, by default, a good thing?

So, the BSA probably thinks that the below says “Those homosexuals and atheists forced us to do this”.  Personally, I think it says “Our bigoted and hateful attitudes have been rejected by modern society so we have to scramble just to exist in a world that doesn’t want us”.

As a result, he said, “every council has looked at ways to generate funds … and logging is one of them.”

Its so funny when these guys forget about technology.  You’d think that, before denying it, he’d listen to the tape.
